Access to suitable and timely accommodation significantly influences the academic performance and well-being of university students. This study examined how delayed accommodation provision affects the academic performance of architectural students in an insurgency-prone region. A sample of 265 Bachelor's degree students in Architecture participated, with data collected on socio-economic factors, gender, stress levels, and academic performance. Regression analysis revealed that delayed accommodation negatively impacts academic performance, causing more significant challenges for affected students. Socio-economic factors, such as student level, were also linked to academic performance (P<0.05), while stress levels showed no significant impact (P>0.05). These findings underscore the importance of timely accommodation allocation in insurgency-prone regions. Educational institutions should prioritize efficient accommodation planning to minimize disruptions to students' academic pursuits. Moreover, gender-specific support and equitable access to resources and technology are essential for creating an inclusive learning environment.
