Abstract

This paper examined the impact of podcast in teaching and learning in Kaduna State College of Education. One hundred and fifty (150) students were randomly selected. Two research questions served as a guide. Mean scores and percentage were used for analysis. The findings showed that lecturers to a very small extent as podcast facilities in teaching, but often give assignment projects that require the use of internet and that most student through audio podcast, radio podcast or text podcast for academic information and depend more getting information from the internet rather than prescribed textbook. However privacy issues, solitary led insufficient information still limited the adoption of podcast in learning in Nigeria. Consequently, three recommendation were presented to enable lecturers to make use of podcast in teaching for better impact.
