Abstract

Sampling Inspection is one of the key determinants of the level acceptance of any product whether by internal or external consumers. The study examines the use of sampling inspection in ensuring that output from archery benefits both the producers and the consumers of chicks. The study utilized primary data collected basically by sampling and inspecting cartons of different types of chicks each containing 51pieces. Double Sampling scheme was applied in determining the actual sample size n and number of defective (c) that would benefit both consumers and producers. Using sampling plan analyzer software, four sampling plan were suggested out of which plan with n1 = 58, n2 = 58, r1 = 5, c1 = 2, c2 = 4 was considered to be more appropriate.
