The research will adopt purposive sampling techniques, data were analyzed through simple statistical percentage and in tabular format. The research finds out that, harmonized minimum wage or salary structure if when implemented at the Local Government will improve the workers input in the service and also changes their living standard in line with the other workers from the Federal and State level. Finally, the research recommends that, government should consider the plight of workers at the local government especially in Lafia Local Government Council by implementing a workable and standard minimum wage, this will go a long way in reducing the rate at which Local Government workers migrate from the Local Government service to other organisation of the state and federal government.
